Today we are rejoicing that Roni (her name means rejoice) is back with our herd. She was one of her favorite does and I have always regretted selling her. The woman I sold her to has the opportunity to go work at the South Pole so we are going to be keeping Roni for her for the next couple of years.
Ari in particular is glad she is back as she was always one of his favorite does. And I'm excited to get to milk her for the first time. Her udder isn't perfect but she is easy to milk and she has great production!
We also have Roni's beautiful chocolate daughter from this year here and will be offering her for sale shortly as I just don't have the room if I hope to be able to keep any kids next year. She was born in March of this year and is very people friendly. Roni is a very good producer and I expect that her daughter will follow in her footsteps.
