I gave Izzy a sample of "Zeal" which is "ideal for sensitive dogs that need a grain and gluten free dog food or who may have a sensitivity to the more popular protein sources." He loved it an licked the bowl clean.
Cleo was given "Love" which "is ideal for dogs that may have grain or gluten sensitivities, or to help maintain a healthy body weight." Like Izzy she loved it an licked her bowl clean.
Our two cats were offered samples of "Grace" and "Prowl". Neither of them would do more than sniff "Grace" and "Prowl" got only a slightly better reception. It is possible that they were not impressed because they do not usually get wet or moist food.
Of course a single meal doesn't tell me how this diet would affect Izzy's coat and his skin allergies. The biggest inhibiter of doing an extended trial of this food is the cost. At over $100 for the equavilant of 40lbs worth of food it is just to extravegant for our budget.
