We were out in the pasture with Tsunami this past Saturday afternoon and noticed a couple of beached whales in the pasture - a Beluga and an Orca to be exact!
Good thing Rita and her dam Millie don't follow this blog or they would be most upset with me referring to them as "the whales". :)
Rita (the mostly white doe) is due April 17th and her dam Millie isn't due until the 23rd of June, but both of them have very well developed rumens that account for at least part of their girth. Both are bred to Mojo and we are really hoping for at least one doe kid from each of them.
As for the current crop of kids they are all doing well. Curious and frisky, but not above a snuggle or two as well.
