11/22/2025 0 Comments Happy Thanksgiving and a few updatesJust finished the website - updated the sales page and created a page for my 2026 Breeding Plans. Updating the sales page with new pictures and adding details to the pedigree pages can be tedious, but when I am looking to buy I appreciate those buyers that have done something similar and I hope you do to. It also makes me wish I was in a spot to keep those remaining 5 does, 1 doeling and one buckling that are on the sales page. But alas that is not possible.
Speaking of those 5 adult does - they have all been exposed to a buck and the new sales page reflects that info and includes the planned pedigree info - with all the extras - for their progeny. If I personally witnessed the breeding I use the term Bred and exposed for those that I didn't personally witness. Because I am still recovering from my first hip replacement surgery, I am not always able to get out to the barn to check for heat. So I get video clips - asking "is this doe is in heat, and if so, who does she go in with?" Waggy is being heavily used and he is in heaven. He should throw blue or marble eyes and potentially moon spots. My five adult keepers have also had a shot at the boys, and Valkyrie is due exactly 6 weeks after my next hip replacement. Finally, I just found out this week that Dr, Peppers sire is the #1 ELITE buck of all living bucks and currently #2 of all bucks ever enrolled in the program. Pretty impressive don't you think?
