2023 Kidding Schedule

Picture
Gal Kahol x
Arctic Tundra

Due: March 23rd

This kidding is likely to produce blue eyed kids.

As you can see from the extended pedigree, there are some exceptional goats behind them including the dam of the 2015 National Champion Doe (twice) and the sire of the 2019 National Champion Doe.

Kaimu x
Arctic Tundra
Due: April 16th

This is another pairing that brings together several Castle Rock lines linking back to both the 2015 and 2019 National Champion Does on both the dam and sire's side.

Kaimu's dam Moana was a fantastic producer and easily earned her milk star as a first freshener.  We are hoping that Kaimu's first freshing will show us a hint of her potential.

Lotus x
Arctic Tundra
Due: June 1st

Lotus did well on the milk stanchion as a first freshener although with only a single kid she really didn't have any pressure to preform.

We are hoping this year she will kid will multiples and we can truly see what she can do on the milk stanchion.   She should not have any difficultly in earning her milk star.

Mojito x
Strangers Ace
Due: June 3rd

Mojito is another first freshening girl who has a nice pedigree.  I purchased Ace on a whim to keep Tundra company since they are only a few days apart in age.  And then his dam scored VVEE91 on LA a few days later!

Mojiot is blue-eyed and moon spotted so she may add those to her kids, although Ace has brown eyes.

Valkyrie x
Stranger's Ace

Due: June 17th

This is one of the thee most anticipated kiddings of the year - and of course it comes last.

Saranghae is not always good about passing along his dam's udder.  But when he does it is fantastic.  We are praying this combo with Violet will live up to all those high LA scores.  Given that we lost Violet it is highly likely I will keep a doe kid out of this pairing.
