Rita Revisited 05/22/2011
So I finally got pictures taken of Rita's udder. In this picture she is 12 hours in milk and 4 weeks fresh. She continues to produce very well on the milk stand and today she even jumped up on her own for the first time! I am planning on running some milk samples up to Willamette DHIA in Salem this coming week as I'm very curious what her butterfat amount is. And of course I will also test Mame' and Tsunami's milk at the same time. And speaking of Mame' and Tsunami, their boys were moved over to the spare pen next to the bucks this morning so there is a whole lot of crying going on. Tsunami's boys have a buyer coming this afternoon and Mame's boys are also up for sale as wethers. CommentsLeave a Reply |
