I am saddened to report that after a long hard fight our little buckling Donavan did not survive the night.   This was his third illness since he arrived here, and despite all our efforts it was all just too much for the little fellow to overcome.   I was with him when he died about 5am this morning.   And I expect when the children wake up and discover our loss that they will be just as heart broken as I am.

We will certainly miss our dear sweet blue eyed "Don-Don" for both his personality and the genetics he would have contributed to our herd.
